課程概述與目標: 顯示器設備之特性化、輸入設備之特性化、數位印刷設備之特性化、色域計算、色外貌模式應用在跨媒體複製、色彩管理系統、跨媒體色彩複製系統之評價
1. Characterization of display medium: Medium characterization and general models, Purpose of CRT and LCD displays, Principles for display characterization
2. Characterization of input medium: Purpose of scanners and digital cameras, Principles for input media characterization
3. Characterization of printer medium: Purpose of digital printing, Principles for printer media characterization
4. Colour gamut calculation and visualization: Colour gamut, methods for determining boundaries, approaches to visualize colour gamuts and their intersections, Relative shapes of colour gamuts for different colour reproduction media.
5. Colour gamut mapping: Review and recommendation of different gamut mapping algorithms.
6. Colour appearance models in practice: What are the important parameters in a CAM for image reproduction, different stages of transforms in a colour management workframe.
7. Colour appearance match: Color phenomenon for colour patches and complex images.
8. Colour management systems: Industral application of cross-media color control design. |
